Everyone who has worked for years in hotels dreams about owning the perfect hotel. At Linthwaite we fell in love with its superb location and breathtaking views of Lake Windermere and decided to develop it into one of the best luxury hotels in the Lake District.
We have been awarded "Most Excellent Country House Hotel" by Johansens and are placed in the top 200 hotels of the UK by the AA.
Our hotel is a haven for those with distinctive tastes, who appreciate some of the finer things in life, and who enjoy being looked after in a manner that is professional without being pretentious. Accommodation Facilities: 30 bedrooms including our new Luxury Loft Suite, all with private bath, shower, bathrobes, 12-channel TV, CD mini hi-fi, DVD players, Wi-Fi internet connection, trouser press, tea and coffee tray, books, mineral water. Some with lake views, king size beds with canopies. Level 1 accessible disabled room on ground floor with own external access. We are now a non-smoking hotel. Full room service.
