Lake District Restaurants: Linthwaite House Hotel, Windermere
Linthwaite House Hotel's award-winning Lake District restaurant serves "modern British" food and is under the stewardship of Richard Kearsley, one of the new generation of talented young chefs.
Fine Dining at Linthwaite House Hotel
Linthwaite House Hotel provides the ideal setting for small, private lunches or dinners. The excellent cuisine features the best fresh, local produce - ample portions immaculately presented, with a fine selection of wines.
Throughout the day a selection of freshly made sandwiches and beverages are served. Afternoon tea is served between 3.00 and 5.30 p.m. At lunchtime guests can choose from the Terrace Menu, whilst enjoying the breathtaking views of Lake Windermere and the Lake District fells.
We serve a multi choice four course dinner every evening, with some dishes changing every night. There is a choice of where to dine; the Restaurant comprises 3 beautifully designed rooms, the Billiard, Mirror, and Board Rooms.
We also serve a more informal menu which you can enjoy in the veranda, just off the lounge, which on mild evenings opens to the outdoor terrace.
A traditional Sunday Lunch (four course Table d'hôte menu) is also available in the restaurant on Sunday from 12.00 - 2.00 pm.
Wherever possible we use the best of local produce. We can easily cater for any special dietary requirements, just let us know prior to arrival. There are always vegetarian options available on the menu.
