NEWS: April 2012

You'll have to take it lying down…

Eternal optimists as we are we have just opened the new Residents' Only lower terrace.

As a result of numerous requests we have put six luxurious loungers on it, facing West of course, for those sunny days to come.

We have to make some difficult decisions though:

Will Andy be running round with that Evian spray to keep you cool or will he be using a bucket of local H2O from the tarn?
Will Sarah be charging round with platters of finely chilled fruit kebabs?
Will Iain be sashaying up to you with a chilled glass of white wine?
And let's not forget James; will he be there with his hands on suntan lotion service?

I'm looking forward to the photo opportunities.

What our Guests say

"We have always found a great welcome - the staff have a good balance of attentiveness without being overly 'fussy'. We have enjoyed all the meals we have had, and unlike many restaurants the food lives up to the expectations. Love the location and appreciate the well maintained grounds. All in all a very good 'feel good' place and whenever we visit the Lakes our No1 venue - highly recommend to all our friends." PC, Sheffield, December 2011
