Restaurants Lake District - Our Dinner menu
Linthwaite is a truly romantic setting for a restaurant - with candlelit tables it is informal and unstuffy, yet discreet and professional. Dinner is available from 7.00 pm with last orders at 9.00 pm. There isn't a strict dress code but smart casual is preferred. Before dinner enjoy an aperitif in the lounge or conservatory and enjoy the breathtaking views over Lake Windermere and the Lake District fells, before dining in one of the Lake District's most romantic award-winning restaurants. Good Food Guide recommended restaurant.
A Typical Dinner Menu
There is an excellent daily changing table d'hôte menu, comprising four courses. Enjoy canapés before dinner with pre-dinner drinks, and after dinner cafetière coffee with petit fours, for £50.00 (tax and service included). If you can't manage a full dinner we are very flexible and can offer a simple a la carte. You could also have dessert and coffee after you return from an evening out.

Elysium Black Muscat 2003
Andrew Quady, Madera County, California, USA
A red sweet wine? This is great with chocolate!
Casa Silva, Semillon Late Harvest 2000
Colchagua Valley, Chile
Compliments any dessert! Rich and fruity with a gentle mouth watering finish.
Giovanni Alledrini Recioto della Valpolicella Classico 2001
Valpolicella, Veneto, Italy
This rare fabulous dessert wine is made from grapes that have been dried for up to 5 months prior to pressing, then allowed to mature for 24 months in French oak. This wine is sweet yet has an incredibly rich and long balanced flavour, certainly a wine to meditate over at the end of your meal, expensive but worth it!!

The cheese is then matured at Churchmouse Cheeses
