Lake District mountain biking and cycling

We can suggest some quiet routes on and off road whether you want a nice easy cycle in the fresh air, or if you fancy a real challenge just ask our reception staff who will be happy to provide you with some carefully thought out routes.

Don't think you have to be Lycra-shorted and super-fit to ride these bikes - they can be enjoyed just doing a gentle journey through the flat parts of the Lakes and you can go off-road and stay on flat terrain if you want. (Ferry, then north up the west side of Windermere by Lake Windermere.)

N.B. if you bring your own bikes, we have secure storage available.
